Someone cry for the children (1993)

Director:
Michael Wilkerson

Runtime: 82 min

"The Oklahoma girl scout murders occurred on June 13, 1977, at Camp Scott in Mayes County, Oklahoma. The victims were three girl scouts, between the ages of 8 and 10, who were raped and murdered and had their bodies dumped on a trail leading to the showers 150 yards from their tent at summer camp. In a chilling struggle that goes beyond good and evil, in the most extraordinary manhunt and murder trial of our time, the white man's law and the Cherokee Indian way clash irrevocably, leaving far more than three deaths unsolved and unexplained. The Girl Scout murders were the most bizarre crimes in the history of Oklahoma. This movie is based around the book of the same name. The film interviews parents and investigators involved with the case. Narrated by Johnny Cash and Dale Robertson."
